Every session begins with an assessment to understand:

Treatment is then adapted throughout the session using sports massage and soft tissue therapy techniques, with pressure, pace and communication adjusted to your individual comfort and response.

There is no expectation to tolerate unnecessary discomfort. Treatment is guided by what is appropriate and effective for you on the day.
